GIAKOUMIS GAVRAS

The festivals of Amorgos are probably, together with those of Icaria, the most famous festivals of the Greek islands.
Endless hours of music and dance to the sounds of traditional Cycladic music where sounds and people become one.
Yakoumis Gavras, a true representative of the Amorgian musical tradition, comes with his violin for the first time to Berlin to set up a genuine Amorgian ‘’ Panigiri’' with music from both Amorgos and the wider region of the Small Cyclades.
He is accompanied by George Gavras on lute and Alexis Karlis on double bass.
